  1. Colton's life as a child was like any others, full of support, love and care. . . Or so he thought. His parents were supportive of everything he wanted to do all through most of his life up until he chose to become a professional wrestler. In that moment, they pulled away from him, leaving him to chase his dreams all on his own. Determined to prove them wrong, he began living out of his car and wrestling in small indy promotions to get by and making enough money to keep himself alive. This was all until Ring Of Honor offered him a contract and alas began his career in more of a professional sense.

  2. He continued down the path of wrestling for Ring Of Honor, winning several titles and a couple of tag team titles along the way with several different wrestlers. He was so eager to make a name for himself and earn his spot in the record books that he would do anything that anyone asked of him. That determination led him to trying out for WWE to which they turned him down, saying that he wasn't what they were looking for at the time and that there was too many like him. This drove Colton to prove them wrong, as he worked his off right up until All Elite Wrestling was created and he received a call from Kenny Omega offering him that big break that he was so desperately chasing. Within AEW he is a one time TNT champion and was at the very beginning of his first run as FTW champion when he sustained a serious shoulder injury and was forced to drop the title back to the person he won it from; Hook.

  3. Colton was out for about 12 months with his Injury, training every day and seeking his return to the ring more and more as the days went on. Towards the end of their recovery window, Colton began training with his then fiancé, Malakai Black. Throughout this training, they picked up a few new wrestling moves, adding them to their move set. Eventually Colton would be cleared to compete, making their grand return in NJPW at Battle in the Valley and labelling himself the Scapegoat. Colton is now wrestling alongside the Elite to ensure that they don't keep to their promise of destroying Malakai's career and along with that alliance, Colton became a two-time TNT Champion and currently in his second reign as TNT champion.

Their story together begins here. About 8 months ago if you had told Colton that they would be engaged, let alone dating Malakai Black they would have laughed in your face. What started off as a joke with Colton calling Malakai little pet names, very quickly worked into Malakai taking Colton on their first date. Their first date turned into several more and a few weeks later Malakai was asking Colton to be their boyfriend. As they spent more time together, Colton was spending more and more nights at Malakai's before making it their permanent home without either of them asking. One night several months into their relationship as they were watching a horror movie, Malakai asked them to marry him. Possibly a rather fast decision, yet it felt like the best one for them. Throughout the start of their relationship they had one rule, their personal life stayed personal, so no obvious or over the top displays of affection and this worked very well for them. This was until Malakai and the House of Black's recent Cage match on Collison where Malakai wanted nothing more than to have Colton in their arms and around them constantly, alas leading them to agreeing to remove said rule and allowing them to continue to be more affectionate in public. Set to get married privately on Tuesday the 30th of January 2024 in the spot of their first date with a bigger wedding still to come in the next few months. They were just too eager to call one another husband wife Their honeymoon set for Amsterdam, so Malakai can show Colton where they grew up and the plan to adopt another cat, which is obviously Malakai's idea. Mal and Colt adopted a little girl by the name of Harper and have every intention of giving Harper a sibling when the time is right. Their love story has only just begun and as it continues more will be added.
